Mango is a hybrid (peach-faced x masked) lovebird who is very affectionate once he warms up to you. He comes from a family who gave him so much love and care over the years but must find him a new home due to some changes in their lives that won’t allow them to give him all the attention he deserves. The easiest way to steal Mango’s heart is with food, whistling and kisses. He loves prepared human food like spaghetti, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and more! Mango does not speak. That said, he does interact with you through clicks and whistles. If you make a sound he likes, he will bob or tilt his head, chirp back, fluff up or shake his tail. Bathing is one of his favourite things to do. He will also let you know if he wants a bath when he’s out of his cage and you run the tap at your kitchen sink. We often use a glass pie dish in the sink and let the tap drip into the dish, he likes showers too.
